JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. Clinical Research Scientist, Premier PCU
The Senior Clinical Research Scientist (SrCRS) will independently plan, design, direct, execute and summarize assigned clinical pharmacology studies. The SrCRS will liaise with clinical pharmacology and translational medicine functional unit for obtaining support for the assigned clinical studies. The SrCRS will be a member of clinical teams and will be responsible for drafting the clinical pharmacology plans for the assigned projects. The SrCRS will act as a primary point of contact for any clinical pharmacology-related activities related to assigned projects and will develop new methodologies to explore clinical pharmacology aspects of the compound. The SrCRS will be involved in the preparation of regulatory documents (e.g. NDA documents, investigators brochures, IND updates etc.)
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Sr. Clinical Research Scientist, Premier PCU
-5 years of experience in clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry.
-Requires a Doctoral (PharmD or PhD) level degree (or in some cases a Masters Degree).
-A thorough understanding of clinical research methodology including study design, protocol writing and CRF preparation is required as is a knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
-A thorough knowledge of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic concepts is essential
-Working knowledge of the IND/NDA process acquired through direct industrial experience is required.
-Knowledge of medical, scientific and clinical research techniques in assigned therapeutic area.
-Experience with writing common technical documents is a plus.
