JOB DESCRIPTION: Scientist (Chemistry)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Ph.D. level synthetic organic
chemist to participate in our innovative program in drug discovery
and development. The individual will play a significant role in the
expansion of our efforts into new medicinal chemistry projects
through the design and synthesis of potential drugs for our cutting
edge projects in the oncology, immunology and neurodegenerative
disease therapeutic areas.

Requirements:
Ph.D. in organic chemistry (postdoctoral experience is preferred) and 0-6 years of industry experience are required. A strong record of scientific achievement, including the proven
ability to synthesize complex organic molecules as evidenced through
publications and presentations is a must. Other requirements include a
state-of-the-art knowledge of methods and instrumentation for
compound characterization and purification, excellent communication
skills (written and oral) and evidence of the ability to work
effectively in a team-oriented environment.
