JOB DESCRIPTION: Associate Director Director Clinical Research
Manages one or more clinical trials or a clinical research program in Phases II-III development. Provides scientific/clinical leadership on post-marketing clinical programs. The job requires interaction with several functional groups in a matrix environment. Specific responsibilities include medical monitor of clinical trials in close collaboration with clinical teams, protocol development and regulatory submissions, participation in strategic positioning of program and the drugs under development, cross-functional interface with all departments ranging from preclinical development to marketing / commercial, and clinical interface with Project Teams. Work location negotiable.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Director Director Clinical Research
? Requirements include MD (board certified medical oncologist or eligible - is desired), with at least 5 years in clinical research or life science environment, including at least 3 years experience in clinical development activities in a pharmaceutical company. Experience in managing clinical trials activities highly desired. Would also consider PharmD with at least 5 years of oncology clinical trial experience in industry or academic environment. ? Ideally, experience will include IND/NDA submissions and formal interactions with regulatory agencies. ? Substantial academic experience in lieu of industry experience may be considered. ? Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Travel is required.
