JOB DESCRIPTION: Manager Maintenance Engineering
The Maintenance Engineer is a key stakeholder for optimizing production uptime of all equipment and systems on site. This includes being the Maintenance lead for large capital projects, equipment/system modification projects and PM review/modification, to improve operation, uptime, efficiency, equipment reliability, etc., or to decrease parts usage, specific breakdown type, labor hours and equipment cost of operation. Also, this position will include being a liaison with the Engineering department where it will be required to review all new projects for long term maintenance needs. This will include such things as equipment, parts usage, (both manufacturer/model and application), maintenance access, training assessment needs, installation correlation to design (or the subsequent documentation with as built drawings and commissioning), spare parts recommendation, preventative maintenance requirements (along with the need for any special tooling and labor requirements). Must have the ability to apply engineering theory, practices and principles to determine root cause of equipment failures and to perform equipment performance evaluations. An additional responsibility for the Maintenance Engineer will be working with the Area Maintenance Team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements to maintain a cGMP facility.

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Manager Maintenance Engineering
BS ME/EE/CE with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing setting acting in engineering capacity for maintenance improvements of equipment operation. Must have demonstrated good leadership, maintenance engineering and project planning qualities while leading others by example. Candidate must have demonstrated the continued ability to complete all requested work within the required compliance and procedural guidelines and have the ability to integrate excellent engineering skills as required. Prior Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience is strongly preferred.
