JOB DESCRIPTION: Associate Manager, CTMS Support
Description
***Operations management experience in a call center/helpdesk preferred.***
The Associate Manager, CTMS Support leads and supervises the day to day operations of a team of CTMS specialists (project support, business support or reporting). Provides coaching and development to assigned support team. Collaborates with clinical operations management and the global CSG team to ensure successful completion of CTMS related deliverables. This position also plays a key role in the development of system and reporting requirements and the implementation of CTMS/CASCADE releases.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Manager, CTMS Support
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Science * Considerable (comparable to 6 years) experience working with a relational database in a clinical research environment * Significant (comparable to 3 years) combined experience supervising or training team members or demonstrating proficiency as a PPD Sr. CTMS Specialist * Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making * Ability to objectively evaluate staff * Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively, including training/mentoring staff * Ability to effectively delegate tasks and follow up on adequate completion * Understanding of all phases of clinical trials, specifically study start-up and maintenance * Understanding of relational databases and database structure * Strong computer skills, MS Office and other database applications * Ability to supervise a diverse team and utilize the talents and abilities of all direct reports. Includes ability to motivate and integrate staff * Possess good interpersonal skill, self-motivated, and have the ability to retain a positive attitude
