JOB DESCRIPTION: Filling Operator
Performs set-up and operation of vial washers and capping machines located in ISO Class 7 areas.
Monitors depyrogenation tunnels to ensure all processing parameters are correct
Performs capper and vial washer changeovers and any mechanical adjustments and minor repairs as required
Completes batch record documentation for capping, vial washer and depyrogenation tunnel
Performs cleaning and sanitization of ISO Class 7-8 rooms as defined in the facility cleaning program including but not limited to documentation, room restorations, and corrective action responses
Works with Document and Inventory Analysts to requisition glass from warehouse based on the production schedule
Supports Filling department by stocking departmental supplies
Successfully completes and maintains required company and department sponsored training such as forklift, classified area, and others
Follows cGMP guidelines, safety procedures, and SOPs at all times
Ensures containers used to fill sterile injectable products are processed in accordance with company SOP, cGMP, and quality standards
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Filling Operator
High school education or equivalent experience.
Some college work
Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Ability to demonstrate comprehension of machinery processes and troubleshoot problems as they occur.
Ability to perform simple arithmetic and able to use a calculator for computing units processed.
Ability to wear required clean room gowning consisting of gown, hair cover, gloves, mask, goggles and boots.
A minimum of 1 year related production experience
Ability to demonstrate average comprehension of machinery processes and troubleshoot problems to best trained ability at an intermediate level.
Ability to follow a production schedule and adapt to changes based on department requests at an intermediate level
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with employees of different departments and various levels
Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English
Ability to follow and interpret written and verbal instruction by lead and senior operators
