JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. Manager, Network Administration IT Security
Position Summary
The Sr. Manager, Network Administration & IT Security is responsible for protecting valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data through knowledge of network security and protocols, data and application of solutions, security management and knowledge of industry trends and current and emerging risks. The Sr. Manager Network Administration & IT Security will also be responsible for contributing toward the design, architecture and support of WAN, LAN, DNS, Network Security, Telecommunications, Wireless, and network management tools. This includes planning, specification, implementation, administration and maintenance of equipment services for all the above responsibilities in the corporate office and remote sites.
Advises Teva leadership on enterprise security strategy, security architecture, and security design work; works with business stakeholders to define the security and privacy policies. Advises on compliance issues regarding information security and privacy regulations and serves as the Teva IT Security Officer. Supports security and privacy audits and develops a mitigation strategy.
Travel Requirements: < 25%
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing and maintaining the Wide Area and Local Area Networks proper capacity and scalability. Responsible of configuring and maintaining proactive Network Monitoring System leveraging existing tools in order to maintain and track Networks important metrics.
* Design, architect and provide support of Cisco-based Routers, Switches, Gateways, Security Solutions, Wireless Solutions and Network Management Solutions across WAN/LAN
* Maintain relationship with telecommunications carrier representatives for the existing and future network installations. Coordinate and act as liaison with vendors and business partners of various organizations to procure equipment and services related to telecommunication systems within the organization.
* Responsible for performing frequent Network Trending & Analysis and make recommendations and changes accordingly to maximize performance and minimize costs
* Manage infrastructure projects as assigned
* Prepares the organization’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information systems.
* Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures, virus and patching.
* Implements information security policies and procedures for the organization
* Reviews all system-related security plans throughout the organization’s network
* Monitors the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Sr. Manager, Network Administration IT Security
Education Required:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, IT security or related field
Experience Required:
10+ years of experience in Network Engineering including 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing architectures and network security strategy for large, multi-national companies.
10+ years of experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and load balancers.
Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP-4), MPLS, WAN circuit experience is a must
Experience in a very wide range of leading edge and traditional network and IP Telephony technologies
Demonstrated track record with designing network security strategy and roadmaps along with network, security policies and procedures.
Experience in standards definition
Project management leadership in technical undertakings
Experience in WAN MPLS deployments
Successful experience driving and managing external relationships with Vendors and carriers providing network management, development, maintenance, and support.
Relevant industry certification in security (CISSP).
Well-rounded understanding of technology, operations and key business processes.
Re-engineering / process improvement experience, leading and coaching security improvement projects
Extensive experience in leading development of security processes.
Knowledge of the security and privacy regulations applicable to TEVA.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff
Strong information technology background including familiarity with the latest technologies and trends.
Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including: * Network & Security Protocols
*Operating Systems (AIX, Windows, Linux) * VOIP, PSTN, & PBX
* VPN, Firewall, Anti Virus(Checkpoint, Trend)
* Wireless Infrastructure
* Messaging Security Techniques and Standards * Storage Arrays * Web & Server Technologies * E-Commerce Network Design and Protocol * Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design * Directory Services * Data Center Security & Best Practices
* Database Security
Ability to interact with all levels of management
