JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr Market Development Spec
Manage all phases of direct to patient programs. These phases include the strategic design, test design, project and vendor management, execution, analysis, validation and reporting of DTC programs. Manage the execution schedule and additional internal and external people resources involved in the process. Work in cooperation with other marketing, sales, call center, field and product development employees to complete tasks. Work effectively with advocacy groups and sales teams to promote DTC efforts domestically and globally. Handle assigned duties as required by changing business needs.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Sr Market Development Spec
• Prepares annual DTC Marketing Plan to achieve maximum sales and profits. Collaborate with sales, market development, pump, patch, CGM, Carelink product marketing and education teams to develop Marketing Plan. • Collaborate with stakeholders, sharing DTC marketing plan. Obtain approval. Schedule and conduct ongoing stakeholder meetings as specified by the project needs as necessary to maintain alignment between DTC and other internal groups. • Train internal sales teams on DTC marketing impact and other downstream activity • Conduct and participate in focus groups, analyze and summarize key data • Deliver successful outcomes, develop others, integrate learning, share results • Develop, launch and execute DTC campaigns to drive patients in need, patients pending therapy and patients served of pump therapy as well as other campaigns as determined by Marketing Plans • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing and sales activities. Recommend and implement appropriate changes to improve effectiveness of Marketing strategy. • Interface with the sales leaders to ensure that goals and plans are met. • Direct integration of DTC activities into product and market development strategies and programs. • Develops maintain & report annual and monthly expense budgets. • Integrate strategies and tactics into the organization, in particular engaging other marketing teams on DTC strategy and programs
• Bachelors Degree • 7 years experience in medical device marketing or consumer marketing • Strategic and tactical marketing skills • Direct to consumer experience • Knowledge of marketing media channels • Global marketing experience • Project management skills • Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting experience • Hands-on marketing subject matter expert, focused on results and execution
