JOB DESCRIPTION: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Santa Barbara, CA
Responsibilities include:
* Effectively present Duramed's line of Women's Health Care products which include oral and emergency contraceptives and IUDs to OB/GYN's, Primary Care and Internal Medicine physicians.
* Calling on pharmacies to create awareness and educate clients on these products and sell to these accounts
* Attain sales and market share goals
* Sole responsibility for assigned territory
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Santa Barbara, CA
Position Requirements include:
* BS or BA Degree required; Sales/Marketing or science related degree desirable.
* 1+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, Specialty or Women's Health Care Products preferred OR 2+ years of outside/ business to business technical sales
* Proficient aptitude in science related field
* Proficient in Microsoft Office application
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong organizational and communication skills - verbal or written
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with target customer groups, internal management team, and other members of the sales and marketing team.
* Proven ability to prioritize, plan and monitor multiple projects
* Demonstrates ability to work independently and travel extensively
