Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, the HRIS Manager supports Allergan Human Resources' Mission to attract, motivate, develop and retain exceptional talent for today and for the future by effectively leveraging technology and systems on a global basis.

The HRIS Manager implements and supports innovative technology tools across HR, working closely with the Manager Shared Services to run core transactional operations and to drive change across the function. This role will suit a senior consulting professional with a strong technology and operations background. The successful individual for this role will interact and partner with all levels of Human Resources including Benefits, Compensation, Shared Services, Learning & OD and the HR Business Partners globally to ensure the required systems and tools are in place. He/she will provide the leadership and vision to strengthen human resources technology to further leverage the function by using best demonstrated practices and efficient processes. The right candidate for this role will excel at working in a collaborative environment and be able to mentor and coach other members of the team. This role is hands-on with involvement in day to day activities as follows:

* Work with key stakeholders to determine areas for optimization, deconstruct issues and develop solution approach
* Provide content and thought leadership to identify technology led innovation opportunities within HR
* Balance a portfolio of projects that provide maximum leverage and enhance HR service delivery and data quality across HR functional areas and geographies
* Provide direction, knowledge and support to other team members when needed
* Be accountable for driving recommendations through to implementation
* Ensure tools and systems are in place to enable improved human resources analytics and transaction processing including employee life cycle administration, and all data entry pertaining to employees
* Partner with IT resources to deliver highest levels of functionality for employees
* Work closely with IT, Finance, R&D, Sales, Legal and other departments to implement HR applications that integrate well into the Allergan enterprise
* Create and process reporting requests using SAP Ad Hoc Query, BW and Microsoft applications. Manage reporting process as it relates to requests, output and distribution.
* Lead delivery of systems administration support for key applications including SAP HR, Success Factors, Taleo, and Plateau.
* Identify and recommend technical solutions to address opportunities to improve existing process to further streamline and optimize operational effectiveness within Human Resources.
* Develop process and system documentation for HR Applications
* Serve as liaison between HR and IT team to ensure SAP is fully operational and maximized. Process change requests and participate in testing and implementing day-to-day system changes of SAP.


REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Manager, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

Requirements:

* BA/BS required, MBA preferred
* 5+ years of consulting or project management
* Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with employees of various disciplines within various departments and external contacts
* Strong analytical skills and advanced report development and metrics building skills
* Strong systems knowledge including Microsoft Office. Experience with SuccessFactors, Taleo, Plateau or other recruiting, performance management, learning management systems required.
* Experience with SAP Org Management and Personnel Administration and SAP Ad Hoc Query required.
* Advanced knowledge of computer productivity applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
