JOB DESCRIPTION: Director, Customer Insight and Market Development - Janssen AI, LLC
The Director Customer Insight and Market Development, Janssen Alzheimer Immunotherapy Research & Development, LLC, will co-lead an alliance team focused on generating deep insights about customers, and turning the insights into strategies and tactics that will optimize the use of the product by the stakeholders. Develop an approach for generating deep insights and partner with consumer and other J&J organizations to leverage the best capabilities. Model the use of the Marketing Excellence Approach and ensure its incorporation into all aspects of the global commercial strategy. Provide commercial leadership and guidance throughout the clinical development and commercial life cycle of the compound. Co-lead JCLT and represent commercial view on JDLT and other joint and Janssen AI teams. Lead J&J regional teams as appropriate and relevant. Key responsibilities will include: Develop an approach for generating deep insights and partner with consumer and other J&J organizations to leverage the best capabilities. Integrate input and knowledge from all key stakeholders to generate insights that are indispensable for all team members. Establish "must haves" at launch based on insights - infrastructure for patients, non-product solutions, etc. Identify new alzheimer's or elderly opportunities for Janssen AI ("beyond the pill."). Partner and form strong relationships with external advocacy organizations, societies, etc. Engage both alliance partner organizations in stakeholder insights and ensure all strategies unfailingly incorporate these insights.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Director, Customer Insight and Market Development - Janssen AI, LLC
A Minimum of a BA/BS is required with an advanced degree preferred. 8 or more years of progressive marketing experience is required, preferably in the consumer or devices industry. Extensive line marketing experience, senior brand responsibility, product launch experience, and team leadership is also required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in establishing new markets/new paradigms. Line marketing experience demonstrating commitment to innovation through deep customer insights is preferred. Demonstrated track record participating in highly matrixed, cross-functional work teams composed of high-level managers and executives is preferred. Extensive experience accomplishing objectives through people is preferred. Position requires significant domestic and some international travel (approximately 10%).
