JOB DESCRIPTION: SCIENTIST II
Support Research and Development through the conduct of studies to understand drug disposition by metabolism and transport. This involves the conduct of detailed in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate the metabolism and transport kinetics of discovery and development drug candidates, under the supervision and guidance of an in-house expert. Duties could include conducting in vitro microsomal, hepatocyte or cell line incubations for clearance, inhibition or transporter determinations, and protein binding. There will also be a need to make presentations to peers and project teams.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: SCIENTIST II
Basic Qualifications:
• 1 year experience in a biochemistry lab setting
• Proven experience in LC/MS/MS technology methods development and automation.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of experience AND/OR
Masters Degree and 5+ years of experience. BS, MS. or equivalent in drug metabolism, pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
