JOB DESCRIPTION: Manager, Marketing Communications
This position will serve a key role within the U.S. Marketing Communications team. He/she will partner with cross-functional teams, both U.S. and Global, to develop impactful, innovative and compelling messages for internal and external stakeholders. The Manager, U.S. Communications will participate in the development of message mapping and planning to support new product and program launches.
Specific responsibilities include:

Write compelling messages that align to key business objectives and platforms across all vehicles while working cohesively with the business, sales and marketing teams

Create consistency and reinforce critical messages, influencing behavior and ensuring voice of customer through internal and external messaging, media relations support, and product and program initiatives, Drive the standard communication process across the business with a focus on sales communication and messaging
*
Support U.S. Marketing product and program initiatives to drive home penetration and business growth. Support Government Affairs, Reimbursement and key customer- focused (DaVita) initiatives. Will provide assistance with CRRT communication activities as business needs dictate

Manage the Advertising/Promotion Approval Process for the U.S. Region, coordinating and tracking all communication submissions (sales and customer facing), leading review meetings and facilitating discussions to address conflicting feedback to ensure consensus is reached on key important messages that will support Home therapy and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) growth within the U.S.

Individual will work closely with U.S. and Global Marketing, U.S. Sales and Sales Training, Corporate Communications, and Regulatory on a variety of commercial tactics aimed at training sales, conveying critical customer messages and driving overall Home/CRRT growth
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Manager, Marketing Communications

Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of three to five years experience in Marketing Communications, Media Relations, Journalism or related field. Health care experience is a plus, but not required
*
Write consistently and clearly in an influential, moving and memorable style that compels the reader to think or act differently while under pressure and deadline
*
Ability to distill complex language, from a variety of sources, into effective, easy-to-understand concise messages for a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and external customers
*
Must be an independent thinker, with the focus to manage a streamlined process as well as the ability to effectively manage through changing business needs
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent organizational skills with the aptitude to make solid recommendations
*
Highly creative with excellent interpersonal skills. Capacity to work well with a diverse set of personalities
