JOB DESCRIPTION: Director of Marketing, Fluid Therapy Drug Delivery
We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing, Fluid Therapy & Drug Delivery, for our corporate office located in Bethlehem, PA, who will be responsible to manage overall marketing activities of complex product line within the IV Therapy & Drug Delivery product portfolio. Manage all day to day activities, product launch activities, drive the Duplex and the premixed drug development efforts. Responsible for the development, implementation and control of marketing programs to maintain and increase market share and profits. Impacts the organization by providing strategic direction for assigned product lines, positively impacting company revenue and operating profit. Decisions directly impact operating profit, customer satisfaction levels and sales force focus and direction. Directs activities of Product Manager and/or Product Director level subordinates. Maintains an active field travel schedule to regularly meet with customers, sales personnel, inventors, and consultants
Essential Functions: ? Responsible to oversee all product portfolio activities; revenue targets and operating profit goals, new product launches, promotional activities ? Develop and implement product group marketing strategy, manage all operational aspects of product line, including forecasting, inventory, backorder, and quality issues. ? Support Sales division growth strategies. ? Direct development of programs to increase market share, revenue and profits. ? Develop unit, revenue and profitability forecast, and pricing strategy for complex Pharmaceutical product portfolio. ? Evaluate product improvements and product line extensions while maintaining existing product base. ? Identify and write requirements profiles for new product development and acts as integral part of development team. ? Establishes and directs engineering priority list for R&D group. ? Coordinates and assists with in-house sales training programs related to product group.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a B. S. degree with eight (8) plus years product marketing experience, or a combination of sales/engineering and four (4) years marketing experience. Candidate should also possess experience in generic pharmaceutical marketing business, a minimum of four (4) years experience in marketing personnel management and new product development and product launch experience. Candidates should exhibit a thorough understanding of medical and/or pharmaceutical sales, drug admixture techniques and processes, drug delivery systems and a base knowledge of U.S. hospital and continuing care markets, mathematical/statistical principles, new drug product approval process/regulatory requirements.
