JOB DESCRIPTION: Financial Consultant
Provide financial support to regional Vice Presidents of Sales relative to expense, asset management, budgeting, headcount needs and revenue analysis. Must ensure assets of the company are safeguarded while serving as business partner to sales management.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Financial Consultant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review regional sales results and provide actionable feedback to Regional Vice Presidents.
Assist Regional Vice President and District Sales Managers on headcount planning, sales territory structure and budgetary impact.
Train District Sales Managers and Sales Office Coordinators regarding overall polices and procedures, revenue recognition, expense management and asset management responsibilities. Perform similar training for reps as needed.
Assist in developing annual operating plans (AOP) for districts and regions and continued support and reporting related to the AOP throughout the fiscal year.
Serve as key regional finance person on real estate leasing decisions, collections and account specific issues.
Consult on supply chain issues; review economic justification for consignment requests.
Assist District Managers with the development of business plans.
Assist Finance and Sales Management with regional compensation analysis, resolution and management.
Proactively ensure that sales force adheres to asset management and operating plans through regular review and communication.
Review sales performance; provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Assist with special projects as requested by Finance or Sales Management.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive-based business experience with emphasis on accounting, finance and/or control improvement
