JOB DESCRIPTION: Volunteer Recruiting Associate
Part-time/On-call position working approximately 20 hours per week. Conducts phone screening (outgoing and incoming) with potential study subjects to determine initial study eligibility requirements and schedules screening appointments to support the project plan for clinical studies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Performs telephone contacts and appropriate appointment scheduling of potential volunteers for study screening
• Reviews study protocols and works with study managers and other staff to generate telephone scripts for each study
• Performs reception duties for front desk
• Assists in recruitment administrative duties
• Initiates the process of obtaining Informed Consent from study subjects
• Assists in maintenance of accurate subject database and performance of database queries
• Checks voice mail daily and take appropriate action on all messages from study subjects.
• Participates in subject screening procedures, as needed
• Maintains familiarity with study protocols, study schedules, and subject participants for each study
• Notifies study volunteers of study participation status
• Works as a member of the recruiting team to obtain sufficient numbers of qualified participants for each study
• Assists others in department as needed
• Attends and participates in CPC staff meetings as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Volunteer Recruiting Associate
QUALIFICATIONS
• Two to four years employment-related experience
• Two years experience in a clinical, health-related and/or marketing environment preferred.
• Experience using computerized information systems preferred; experience with PC-Windows, word processing, and database software preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in a clinical, health-related, or marketing field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience preferred
• Professional certification in a medical discipline preferred.
