JOB DESCRIPTION: Aseptic Filling Operator
Performs set-up, adjustments, sanitization, and operation of all machinery using aseptic technique
Performs changeovers on all filling room equipment including mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
Communicates status of essential duties and responsibilities with different levels of the department
Accurately completes batch record documentation and all appropriate log book and GMP related documentation
Performs fill volume checks and makes volume adjustments as necessary
Successfully completes and maintains required company and department sponsored training such as respirator, classified area, and others.
Monitors the supply of components into Class 5 areas and gross inspection of obvious defects
Completes aseptic filtration of pharmaceutical solutions prior to filling
Practices consistence use of aseptic technique as resulting in low surface monitoring microbial results and successful media run results
Follows cGMP guidelines, safety procedures, and SOPs at all times
Works in other areas as needed.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Aseptic Filling Operator
High school education or equivalent experience
A minimum of 3-4 years related production experience.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Ability to demonstrate comprehension of machinery processes and troubleshoot problems as they occur
Manual dexterity and lifting ability.
Ability to perform simple arithmetic and able to use a calculator for computing units processed.
Good communication skills.
Previous pharmaceutical experience is preferred
Required to wear clean room gowning consisting of gown, hair cover, gloves, mask, goggles and boots
