JOB DESCRIPTION: Security Officer (Unarmed) - 3rd Shift - 10:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. - M - F
Position Summary
Under general supervision, perform assigned security activities within the Security Operations department to provide safe and secure work environment in specified Teva assets for the protection of employees, products, and resources from both internal and external threats. Able to complete multi-functional assignments, day to day functions, and provide departmental support in a timely manner.
Travel Requirements
Some travel between Teva buildings may be routinely required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1.
Under general supervision, follows prescribed procedures in performing assigned security within the Security Operations department to ensure a safe and secure work environment in specified Teva assets for the protection and management of all company assets including employees, products, and resources.
2.
Provides physical protection of specified assets on a shift of operation. Mans a post and/or patrols to maintain access control, detect unauthorized entry or individuals, detect fire or other emergencies and/or prevent loss and or infractions of rules. To observe and report unusual or suspicious activity to immediate supervision and complete incident reports as necessary.
3.
For multiple locations, monitors, maintains, and/or controls alarm, access, CCTV and/or communication systems. Conduct preventative maintenance on security systems.
4.
Reports incidents and emergencies to the Security Operations Center.
5.
Complies with applicable federal state and local regulations and laws; company policies and procedures and current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP)
6.
Performs other assignments as requested or as business needs require.
7.
Follows Teva Corporate Security and Safety, Health, & Environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Security Officer (Unarmed) - 3rd Shift - 10:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. - M - F
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Education Preferred
Some Criminal Justice or related course work at the college level is preferred.
Experience Required:
1 year of security, Police or military related experience
Experience Preferred:
Related security operations, military, or criminal justice experience is preferred
Company-Related Knowledge:
Knowledge of company procedures related to security
Ability to render first aid or emergency treatment until formal assistance arrives
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
* Must be proficient with the items detailed in the basic training and procedures checklist at your base facility/primary site within three months of hire.
* Must complete the C’Cure tutorial program within three months of hire.
* Must complete the Use of Force program within six months hire.
* Must complete the Basic Protection Officers (BPO) program within six months hire
